Since this item was first posted in early 2009 regarding www.comparedatarecovery.co.uk  and its attempt to mislead consumers into believing abc Data Recovery did not have a clean room, and that Fields Data Recovery / Rapid Data Recovery / DataPhoenix were the number 1 data recovery company in the country when in fact they are repeatedly making up their revenues by overcharging for a software recovery that anyone could do themselves and using these profits to dominate the PPC sponsored links.

I have been advised to modify my reporting of  the problems caused by Fields Associates, Fields Data Recovery , Rapid Data and Rapid Data Recovery plus European sites Clinica De Datos and others including Dattenrettung / IT Services 24 DataPhoenix but I am intent on getting these problems aired in a court of law after realising my companies profitability and viability were being affected by the data recovery scams of others.

Consumers and Competitors of Fields Data Recovery alike are sufferring and  despite my warning Fields THEY HAD A PROBLEM they are still attracting dozens of complaints from consumers and its not for poor service, or poor success rates, it is for misleading marketing, overcharging, and invoicing for services and parts not provided.

Being seen as a Hostile Compeitor misses the point, my company and other data recovery companies are victims of Fields Group "Corporate Might" and "Sector Domination through Unrelenting Growth", yet we have to deal with their "mistakes" on far too regular a basis for their labs to be working to an ISO 9001 accredited standard, unless the process described is how to make money not providing the services advertised. 

We know how they walk clients into paying above market rates for software recoveries and often Charging for parts not supplied and services not provided is tantamount to fraud but it will need a court to rule on this.

Fields Group makes most of its money from marketing for papermill / document spooling services, like Quickie / Managed Divorce /Tribunal Action / Action Direct / Will Writing / CV Writing, basically selling form filling services for money  and lots of it. 

With many unaware of the data recovery scams wondering why I would be so outspoken on this, I will try to explain why risking a back lash from Fields Group  others in the DR industry was necessary and threats of court action from Fields will be defended.

Day in day out we get enquiries from victims of Fields Data Recovery, DataPhoenix and Rapid Data Recovery, it is clear they do not use the  technical resources they claim to posses, and to compensate for this they operate a sophisticated international sales system which is designed to get at least £195 out of every customer regardless of results. And if they are successful in a software/ or electronic repair they will charge anything from £500 to £5000 claiming a full rebuild was necessary.

I will leave it to the courts to decide on whether my outrage at witnessing so many "mistakes" by a competitor is understanable.
